Shah Amanat International Airport is second major airport in Bangladesh serving the port city of Chittagong in southeastern Bangladesh. It is located about 20 kilometers from the city center and is one of the busiest airports in the country. The airport is named after the famous Sufi saint Hazrat Shah Amanat, who is believed to have lived in the region several centuries ago.
The airport has a single terminal building that serves both domestic and international passengers. The terminal building is modern and well-equipped, with a range of facilities and services to cater to the needs of travelers. The airport has two passenger boarding bridges, which enable passengers to board and disembark from aircraft without having to walk on the tarmac.
